Amazon Enters the Music Streaming Business with Launch of Prime Music

Today (Wednesday), Amazon officially enters the music streaming space and is set to compete with Apple and Spotify with Amazon Music Unlimited.
Amazon Music Unlimited offers subscriptions as low as $3.99 per month for owners of Amazon Echo speaker. This is a welcome development in an industry that was stuck to $9.99 subscriptions.

There is rapid growth in online shopping in Nigeria - Survey


At 51 per cent, the 2016 Online Shopping Survey Report by Phillips Consulting has revealed that in-store shopping is still the preferred mode of shopping by Nigerians.
The survey obtained Wednesday surveyed 3,390 consumers. However, the latest result when compared with similar Online Shopping survey carried out by the firm in 2014, showed a significant increase in those who prefer to shop online than in-store, which was 49 per cent.

Samsung permanently discontinues the Galaxy Note7



Samsung has announced that it is ending the production of the Galaxy Note7 and permanently discontinuing it worldwide. The decision comes immediately after the company issued a press release asking users to power down all original and replaced Note7 units, and for retailers and career partners to stop sales and exchanges of the smartphone.

Yahoo has had a difficult time the last few years. The company was once a leader in the email service business but 
that is not the case right now. Very few people are signing up to use Yahoo mail and some of its other services are struggling getting users as competition gets tougher.
A few weeks ago, Yahoo came out to reveal that over 500 million accounts had been breached by hackers back in 2014.
Even though this happened two years ago, it still is bad news for Yahoo, the company looks like it doesn’t have things under control and cannot keep things together. For a company that was once considered an internet giant, Yahoo is clearly on the downward trend.
