This app lets you find an active ATM nearby

Walnut app, which is available on Android and iOS, finds out when a nearby ATM has cash based on user’s transactions and sends an alert to others.

The demonetisation drive has left a lot of us hunting for ATMs with cash nearby. In fact the crowd is expected to soar at ATMs as December 1 (the salary day) approaches. Social media managers responsible for their company’s Facebook and Instagram pages will have their work streamlined soon. Facebook has announced that it will be introducing a unified inbox for its Pages Manager mobile app.

This unified inbox will allow you to link up your organization’s Facebook page, Messenger and Instagram page on the Pages Manager app.

S. Africa, Ghana and Nigeria top the list of mobile Application Users in Africa




Opera, has released its State of the Mobile Web Africa 2016 Report, highlighting mobile internet trends across the continent, including consumer browsing behaviour and app usage. 
Opera – known for its compression technology and mobile browsers, including Opera Mini – compiles regular, global mobile web reports, shedding light on opportunities and challenges within the digital environment.

South Africa leads in mobile application usage with around a third of the population using mobile apps. This compares to 31% in Ghana, 28% in Nigeria, 19% in Kenya and 18% in Uganda.

You can now encrypt your Facebook Messenger chats

Your Facebook Messenger chats can now be secure from prying eyes — with a few caveats.
Facebook began implementing end-to-end encryption to all of its 900 million Messenger users earlier this year, and that roll-out has finished, the company told Wired Tuesday.
